Pop Music; FFDC
Teachers' Day - A celebration schools in the pre-school, primary and secondary education celebrates to show their appreciation for the teachers in Singapore. I didn't get to visit my previous secondary school but, I do hope they had a festive celebration. They deserve it after all the sweat they had to go through just to help us in our education :)
Rocking Duo and his friends were the emcees. Boo! Didn't get to watch :( But I am sure they rocked it, especially Rocking Duo :D To end it off, I wish all the teachers a very Happy Teachers' Day.
The Proposal - The movie that seriously gave me stomach cramps because it was super hilarious! Trust me. Super hilarious. This is really the movie you can use all the 'LOL', 'LMAO' and 'ROFL' terms. I watched the movie with Rocking Duo! :D Gosh gosh gosh gosh, thanks for the idea to watch this movie! It was so worth it! Guys, I would rate it a 5/5. Once you watched it, you couldn't agree more :)
Birth of my hamster - Remember my advanced birthday gift from Rocking Duo and Haziqah? Well, about 4 days ago, my dear female hamster gave birth. There are three of them now. (Jumps with excitement) You might just be going all "Eew, Yuck!" or whatsoever but it is like, a 'wow' to me. Well, call me whatever but I am an animal lover at heart.
I actually taunt and lay beside the cage, watching over the mom, ensuring she is taking good care of her babies. Yes, I would go to that extend. Wait, I already did, for two nights. I am just glad they are growing healthily and I just can't wait to play with them once they are about two weeks old :) FFDC! Remember us chasing after them the other day? :D I want to bring the new-borns soon! ^^
FFDC - Speaking of them, gosh I need to strangle them because I just miss them! OMGOSH. Big time. All those non-stop nonsense from each everyone of us, touring with the Dollz and obviously, dancing with them! Gosh, I can't be waiting for October then we would dance again right? :( I hope we'll work something out yeah? Right Rocking Duo? We would die just to dance again with you all!
I am just glad, thankful to have such wonderful bunch of people growing with me in the dance scene as well as personal life. I always, always feel the warmth from their laughters, craziness and craps like as though they're my everyday blanket :)
I really would give them my best because they deserve the best around. Leading them, is just so great that I get to. Yes, there might be ups and down when they can get soooo stubborn :P But what the heck, we're family. Don't siblings fight? And where siblings just want the best for each other? Yes. Thats who we are :)
I want them to know, each one of them, that in this world, you can achieve anything. It just really matters how much you want it and how willing are you to work for it. The passion for dance you all have is there, make it grow. I have been there, watching all of you grow in your own ways. Keep going! There is always, always room for improvement. And you all, all of you, have my promise that I will be there to support. Come on, we're all in this together! (Not High School Musical please) :P Heee! Remember what I always say, "Feel the music." :D
Pop music will never be low brow - Quoted by the current Pop Icon, Lady Gaga. Currently, I am just hooked onto pop music. Wait what the hell am I saying. It has always been that way since I was still drinking milk from a bottle! :P Psssst! I stopped drinking from the bottle only until I was in primary 2 :P What I am trying to say is, RIGHT NOW, I am just listening to tracks from Pop Icons in this decade such as Lady Gaga, The Pussycat Dolls and Miss Britney Spears.
It is just something in their music that just enlightens my inner music soul. Basically, Pop Music. To me, they're my Pop Legends. I don't know why, I am never appealed to Michael Jackson or Madonna. It was a memorable event when I get the chance to see The Pussycat Dolls in person, during their concert. Definitely going to see Lady Gaga once she comes back to Singapore again :) They are just one of the reasons for my passion for dance.
